Sales Intelligence Analyst
The opportunity
Build the research and operational foundation behind Navierre's insurance sales efforts. Turn public information, industry developments and account knowledge into clear commercial hypotheses, well-prepared meetings and disciplined follow-through. Your work should help the sales executive spend more time with the right buyers and less time assembling information.
What you'll do
- Research target insurers. Analyze business lines, market position, financial characteristics, claims exposure, strategic priorities and technology initiatives using credible public and approved commercial sources.
- Map buying groups. Identify decision-makers, influencers and potential champions across claims, SIU, operations, actuarial, finance and technology. Maintain accurate contact and organizational information.
- Build useful account intelligence. Prepare concise briefs that explain why an account matters, the likely business problem, relevant Navierre use cases and the questions that still need customer discovery.
- Support outreach and meetings. Develop personalized outreach inputs, meeting preparation packs, supporting research and timely follow-up materials in partnership with the sales executive.
- Create defensible opportunity estimates. Help develop spreadsheets, presentations and value hypotheses. Clearly separate verified facts, assumptions and estimates, with traceable sources.
- Maintain commercial operations. Keep CRM records, research, account priorities, next actions and pipeline reporting current. Monitor meaningful account developments and surface timely reasons to engage.
- Use AI thoughtfully. Build repeatable research and automation workflows with approved tools. Validate generated information and protect confidential company, prospect and customer data.
What you bring
- 2+ years in market intelligence, business research, consulting, sales operations, strategy or a comparable analytical role.
- Excellent research judgment and concise writing; able to turn multiple sources into a useful commercial brief rather than an information dump.
- Strong spreadsheet analysis, presentation development and attention to detail, including basic financial calculations and documented assumptions.
- Practical CRM experience and comfort with AI-assisted research, source validation and workflow automation.
- Independence, curiosity and reliable follow-through; able to prioritize urgent sales requests alongside deeper account work.
Also valued
- Experience in insurance, healthcare, enterprise software or financial services.
- Familiarity with insurer filings, claims economics, industry data sources and carrier buying processes.
- Experience with prospecting platforms, SQL, Python or no-code automation; coding is helpful, not required.
Your first 90 days
- First 30 daysLearn buyer groups and product use cases; create a sourced account-brief template and audit current account and CRM information.
- By 60 daysDeliver prioritized insurer research, decision-maker maps and dependable preparation for active sales meetings.
- By 90 daysOperate a repeatable research, account-monitoring and CRM process that demonstrably reduces seller preparation time and strengthens opportunity qualification.
How success is measured
Accuracy and usefulness of research, coverage of priority accounts, preparation turnaround, CRM quality and contribution to qualified opportunities rather than raw contact volume.
How you work with the team
Sales owns account strategy, qualification and closing. This role owns research and operational support. Growth Marketing uses the same intelligence for campaigns; the analyst is not the default customer-support or campaign-execution resource.
What to send
Include a resume and a short example of analytical or research work. Be prepared to produce a concise, sourced insurer brief, stakeholder map and opportunity hypothesis with uncertainties clearly identified.
